  • Payment information: Transaction records (we do not store card/UPI credentials)
  • Referring physician details: Doctor's name and contact, when provided
  • Website usage data: Pages visited, browser type, approximate location (for analytics only)

02How We Use Your Information

Your information is used strictly for the following purposes:

  • Scheduling, confirming, and managing appointments
  • Performing and reporting on diagnostic tests you request
  • Communicating test results to you and/or your referring physician
  • Processing payments and maintaining billing records
  • Sending appointment reminders via SMS or WhatsApp
  • Improving the quality of our diagnostic services
  • Complying with legal and regulatory obligations

We will never use your data for unsolicited marketing from third parties, nor sell your information to any external party.

03Medical Data & Confidentiality

All medical information — including imaging results, lab reports, and health history — is treated as strictly confidential. Access to your medical records is limited to:

  • Radiologists and pathologists directly involved in your care
  • Your referring physician (only if you have explicitly authorised sharing)
  • Administrative staff with a legitimate need for billing or scheduling
Your diagnostic reports are your property. You may request a physical or digital copy at any time by contacting our front desk or emailing us at Shubhimagingcentre@gmail.com.

04Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share limited information only in the following circumstances:

  • With your consent: When you authorise us to share results with a specific doctor or hospital
  • Legal obligation: When required by court order, government authority, or applicable Indian law (e.g., public health reporting)
  • Medical emergency: When your safety or the safety of others requires disclosure
  • Service providers: Trusted IT vendors who help us operate our systems, under strict confidentiality agreements

While we take all reasonable precautions, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you not to share your patient ID or report access credentials with others.

Our website uses minimal, non-intrusive technologies:

We provide diagnostic services to patients of all ages, including minors. For patients under 18 years, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent for the procedure and is responsible for any information submitted on the minor's behalf. We treat all minor patient data with the same — or greater — level of protection as adult data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. For significant changes, we will notify registered patients via SMS or email. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

By booking an appointment or using any service at Shubh Imaging Centre, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

01Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of diagnostic services provided by Shubh Imaging Centre ("Centre", "we", "us", "our"). By registering as a patient, booking an appointment, or visiting our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are subject to change. Continued use of our services after any revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

02Services Offered

Shubh Imaging Centre provides the following diagnostic services:

  • MRI Scan (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
  • CT Scan — 32-Slice Computed Tomography
  • Digital X-Ray
  • Sonography / Ultrasound (USG)
  • Pathology Laboratory Tests (blood work, tissue analysis, and panels)
  • Comprehensive Health Checkup Packages

All services are provided for diagnostic purposes only and do not constitute medical advice or treatment. Our radiologists provide reports that should be interpreted by your treating physician.

03Appointments & Cancellations

Appointments can be booked by phone, walk-in, or through our website contact form. Please note:

  • Appointments are subject to availability and confirmation by our staff
  • We request at least 2 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule
  • Walk-in patients are accommodated based on availability; appointments are given priority
  • Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled appointment for registration
  • Bring your referring doctor's prescription, previous reports (if any), and a valid photo ID
  • For MRI and CT scans, specific preparation instructions will be provided at the time of booking

04Patient Responsibilities

As a patient, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date personal and medical information
  • Disclosing any known allergies, implants (pacemakers, metal plates, etc.), pregnancy, or claustrophobia before MRI or CT procedures
  • Following all pre-procedure preparation instructions provided to you
  • Behaving respectfully toward all staff and fellow patients
  • Paying all applicable fees before or at the time of service
  • Not misrepresenting your identity or using another person's identity for services
Failure to disclose critical medical information (such as metal implants before an MRI) that results in injury is the patient's responsibility. Our staff will conduct a safety screening before all imaging procedures.

05Fees & Payments

All fees are communicated to patients before procedures are performed. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.

  • We accept cash, UPI, debit/credit cards, and net banking
  • Fees are subject to change without prior notice; the price applicable is the one confirmed at the time of booking
  • Receipts are provided for all transactions
  • Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis if a procedure cannot be completed due to equipment or staffing issues on our end
  • No refund is provided if a patient fails to follow preparation instructions and the procedure cannot be performed

06Diagnostic Reports

Reports are prepared by our qualified radiologists and pathologists and are typically available within the timeframe communicated at booking.

  • Reports are provided in physical form and/or digitally as agreed
  • Digital reports are shared via WhatsApp or email upon request
  • Hard copies of imaging (films/CDs) may be available at an additional charge
  • Reports reflect findings at the time of the examination and should be interpreted by your treating physician
  • Shubh Imaging Centre does not provide diagnoses or treatment plans — reports are diagnostic aids

We retain copies of all reports for a period as required by applicable law. Patients may request additional copies at any time.

07Limitations of Liability

Shubh Imaging Centre provides diagnostic reporting services performed by qualified professionals following accepted medical standards. However:

  • We are not liable for clinical decisions made by your treating physician based on our reports
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by patient non-compliance with preparation instructions
  • We are not liable for outcomes resulting from inaccurate information provided by the patient
  • Technical limitations of diagnostic imaging may mean some conditions are not visible on a specific modality — our reports will indicate limitations where applicable

Our total liability to any patient for any claim shall not exceed the fee paid for the specific diagnostic service in question.

08Referral & Second Opinions

Patients are always entitled to seek second opinions from another radiologist or diagnostic centre. If you believe a report contains an error, please contact us immediately. We will review the case with the reporting radiologist and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

We value accuracy above all else and welcome clinical discussion in the interest of patient care.

09Intellectual Property

All content on the Shubh Imaging Centre website — including text, layout, images, and design — is our property or is used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any website content for commercial purposes without our written consent.

Diagnostic reports generated by our radiologists are the intellectual output of our clinical professionals and are provided to patients for personal medical use only.

10Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India and the state of Gujarat. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Rajkot, Gujarat.

We encourage patients to first attempt to resolve any dispute with us directly by contacting our centre — we are committed to fair and transparent resolution.
